What is Vestibuloplasty?

An oral surgery, vestibuloplasty is performed in order to augment the height of the alveolar ridge (the bony part of the gum that contains teeth). This is achieved by cutting and rearranging the muscles that attach the floor of the mouth, lips and cheek to the jaw.
